Another adventure to the far side
In this season of harvest, join Ken Hover, long-time friend of Lansing United, as he shares his reflections on Jesus’ parables of sowers, growers, and what they mean to us today. Engage in what is always an interesting discussion with Ken, Nov. 1, 8, and 15, 11-12 on Zoom.

In our first week we concluded that sowers are people of faith, who depend on the nature of the seed. We recognized that there may be a wide range of lessons that we can learn from even a single parable. (Also happy to hear that despite our current social and political unrest, the Sun came up exactly where it was supposed to on the first day of fall, 2020.)

Join us this week as we look more closely at the Parable of the Sower to learn more about the “Supporting Cast” of seeds, birds, trampers, weeds, thorns, rocks, gravel, soil, sun, rain, and “prompters.” We might find something that we had not known was in there all along.
