“Lift Us Up” Cancer Patient Support Group

Cancer patients share a bond, whether cured, in remission, recently diagnosed, or in treatment now. If your world has been turned upside-down by cancer, please gather with us Sun., June 30, in the senior high classroom (north end of the building) at 11AM. “Lift Us Up” will be a safe space in which we can share our experiences of living with this disease. Nancy Lajoie will guide the group: she has been trained through the Peer Mentor Program at the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. Peers are trained to listen, extend emotional support. and assist. Mentees will gain resources and support to process information and make informed decisions.
