Meals for Code Blue Sheltering Individuals
February 8 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

People experiencing homelessness in Tompkins county are being housed in the Key Bank building in Ithaca since the closure of the only shelter in town. The Dept. of Social Services is working with local congregations to provide dinners and breakfasts. Lansing United Adults in Mission are recruiting people:
- to prep and cook meals
- to put together grab-and-go cold sandwiches
- to donate care items for packages of personal hygiene supplies: soap, washcloths, travel-sized shampoo & toothpaste, floss, bandaids, Neosporin, menstrual products, handwarmers
Feb. 8 will be a meal prep day. We already have volunteers for this meal, but are seeking help for future meals. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us, and if you would like to donate to Adults in Mission your support would be very much appreciated. Personal hygiene supply donations can be dropped off in the bin in the narthex. Thank you for ministering together, Steve and Laura Alexander.
