Oh, God! (IMDB) is a 1977 comedy film starring George Burns and John Denver, directed by Carl Reiner. God (Burns) appears as a kindly old man to Jerry (Denver), an assistant supermarket manager. He tells Jerry that he has been selected to be His messenger to the modern world, much like a contemporary Moses. Jerry asks, “Why me?”, God says, “Why not you? God encourages Jerry to spread His message despite skepticism of the media, religious authorities, and his own wife (Teri Garr). Rated PG
