Special music by our choir for February 4: “Invocation” by Rollo Dilworth (1970-) (following “Lay Your Healing
Hands On Me”, also by Rollo Dilworth, on January 28). Sharon and Diane had the
privilege of attending a workshop with Mr. Dilworth a few years back and still
remember his ease and grace and expertise in leading the assembled musicians in a
few of his pieces. His musical talent was recognized early in life and he had the
opportunity to grow as a musician, composer, and teacher from early days. He now
chairs the Department of Music Education at Temple University.
