Ministry Grant Application

The Living Memorial Fund (LMF) was initiated in 2007 as permanent endowment to
fund future ministry activity. The Permanent Endowment Committee (PEC) of LUMC is
charged with administering the fund and managing disbursements.

We are pleased to announce our first grant cycle funded by LUMC Living Memorial Fund (LMF) is now open! This is a new approach to funding new or enhancing established ministries at LUMC. We hope it will encourage members to think creatively about what ministries we are called to and how we can accomplish them!

Either with one other person, group, or a community partner, develop a proposal or
create a plan for a passion project that has been on your mind or heart.
The only
requirement is that it be aligned with the works of LUMC and will make a positive impact on a community however it is defined.

This first “pilot” grant cycle will be able to provide up to $500 for up to three grants. We have developed a simple grant request form and will be receiving applications through April 15th. After that date the PEC will evaluate the grant applications and notify applicants of awards.

The grant application is located below.
If you have questions, please contact: endowment@lansingunited.org.
We look forward to hearing from you!!
