SMEs are "Subject Matter Experts" from the community who will share their perspective on what the most pressing community needs are
The Explorer's group has been researching needs in our greater Lansing area since May. They have narrowed the scope of interest of members of our congregation who attended home meetings down to 3 broad areas: Transportation, Care of the Child, and Affordable Housing. SME's are "Subject Matter Experts" from the community who will share their perspective on what the most pressing community needs are, and ideas on how a church like ours could partner with other organizations to address the need.
