Your presence enriches our church family, and we want to get to know you better. Join Rev. Alison Schmied in the Asbury Room at 11:00 AM (following Coffee Fellowship) for a six-week Newcomer Group. We will discuss the core spiritual practices of our faith—prayer, worship, study, serving, giving, and bearing witness—while connecting with others in our community. Come discover how you can grow and get involved in all God is doing at Lansing United! ("Classics" are welcome too, as well as newcomers.)

As United Methodists, we strive to “Do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God.”  In the Methodist tradition, small groups play a vital role in fostering community, accountability, and spiritual growth.  In the Gospels, Jesus modeled for us the Christian spiritual life. The Church has, through the last 2,000 years, sought to pursue this Christian spiritual life - spiritual practices that are rooted in Jesus’ own walk with God.  For six weeks, we will explore the practices of worship, study, serving, giving, & bearing witness to our faith.
